menu project
For this project I had to design a menu for Hollywood Sandwiches. The theme of course for this menu was Hollywood and stardom. To accomplish this I used three main colors influenced by the Hollywood theme. I choose to use Yellow to represent the bright lights of Hollywood, Red to represent the red carpet, and black to represent darkness during the movie showings. The last color I used was white to use as a contrast against the other darker back round colors. The white and yellow really make the text pop! I also used rectangles at the bottom to represent the city of holly wood and yellow beams to represent the spot lights that one often relates to the Skies above Hollywood. Lastly i used the yellow star to make the special feature stand out.
calendar project
For this assignment I designed three calendars with the same format for the humane society. Several things were important to consider when designing the calenders. first that i made each calender similar with colors and framing. congruity in the designs is important to make the product look professional, aesthetically pleasing, and easily readable. I used soft colors that werenÕt over powering because I didnÕt want some over powering colors and contrast against the white back round. I also chose colors by selecting them from the pictures above the calender to further tie the design together. I also tried to choose colors and pictures that would relate to the month they were used on. for example for february i used the baby seal in the snow and also used soft blues from the picture in the rest of the monthÕs design.
logo creation
For this assignment i designed a logo for a solar power company based out of south carolina. for this logo i decided to keep the logo simple so that people can more easily identify the logo i also used light colors to shed positive light on the company. the justification i handed in was hand writtenÉ so i don't really have anything else to say but im gunna keep writing so this text clears the image of the logos to the right
